About The Role

As the Senior Planner – Maintenance, you will maintain preventative maintenance master data and develop detailed plans for all corrective maintenance within your area. This includes scoping work and allocating resources, parts, tooling and equipment to ensure maintenance is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Beyond short‑term planning, you will lead long‑term maintenance plans, shutdown forecasts, budgets and asset class planning. Working closely with site maintenance execution teams, commercial, risk advisors and external providers, you will develop strategies that balance cost efficiency and risk management while aligning with overall asset goals.

Your leadership will drive continuous improvement by analysing maintenance trends and fostering a culture of safety, reliability and accountability. Through disciplined planning and strong stakeholder engagement, you will optimise asset performance and support operational success.

Please note, this is a residential site‑based position.

What You’ll Do

- Develop and maintain accurate maintenance master data, rolling work plans and preventative maintenance schedules aligned with the 5‑year asset strategy.

- Manage work orders, parts and labour in the CMMS to ensure all maintenance tasks are properly planned, resourced and tracked for system integrity.

- Coordinate procurement of parts and contractor services, maintaining inventory levels and ensuring cost‑effective, quality supply in line with contractual agreements.

- Oversee backlog management, cost control and warranty claim follow‑ups, contributing to annual maintenance budgeting and financial accuracy.

- Collaborate closely with maintenance and reliability teams to analyse maintenance trends, update procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure maintenance planning prioritises safety by proactively identifying hazards, promoting risk reduction and overseeing incident reporting and investigations in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

What You’ll Bring

- Trade‑qualified in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline, with at least 5 years’ experience in mining, heavy industry or processing environments.

- Minimum 4 years’ hands‑on maintenance planning experience, ideally within the mining sector.
