ROLE SUMMARY:

As part of our team at Reddam Early Learning School (ELS), the Inclusion Support Educator plays a key role in ensuring that all children receive tailored support to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive early learning environment.

This position follows the Reggio Emilia approach, placing a strong emphasis on inclusive, child‑led learning and fostering a love for learning. The Inclusion Support Educator works closely with other educators to create a supportive, respectful, and engaging learning environment where every child is empowered to succeed.

This role is based at our St Leonards ELS and is a casual position (2 days a week – Thursday and Fridays, 6 hours per day).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide tailored, individual support to children with additional needs, ensuring their inclusion and active participation in the classroom activities and learning experiences.

- Work closely with the Room Leader and other educators to implement an inclusive, inquiry‑based programme inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that all children feel valued, respected, and supported to achieve their full potential.

- Ensure all care and safety standards are met, in line with regulatory requirements and Reddam House’s high standards.

- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

- A qualification in Early Education will be desirable.
