St. Patrick's Catholic Primary School requires a suitably qualified teacher to join their vibrant teaching staff in Term 1, 2026. The position is for a Primary School classroom teacher. Graduate teachers are encouraged to apply. The position is a fixed term 12 month maternity leave contract, with the possibility of extension pending suitability of successful candidate.

Special Requirements

- appreciation and understanding of the Catholic ethos
- highly motivated, enthusiastic and has a positive outlook
- ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning team
- demonstrated ability to form positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- knowledge of current curriculum and inquiry-based learning and be receptive to a culture of feedback
- a willingness to contribute to the broader needs of the school and parish community
- accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a willingness to obtain the necessary qualifications
- current VIT Registration.
- Graduate Teachers are encouraged to apply

St Patrick’s is a Catholic Parish Primary School in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. Christ is our model in faith, action and relationships. The school is accommodated in variety of well-maintained buildings, both old and new, on a large and secure 3 hectare site in Mentone. St Patrick’s School is part of the evangelising, catechising and educational mission of the Church, and an integral part of St Patrick’s Parish.
