The Star Entertainment Group is seeking a senior leader to oversee governance frameworks and reporting processes within our Group Risk department. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, transparency, and operational excellence across the organization. This role is heavily involved in coordinating and report writing for Board and Management Committees for the Star Entertainment Group.

About the Role
As Head of Governance and Reporting, you will lead a team responsible for governance oversight and regulatory reporting. You will design and implement frameworks that ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement governance frameworks and reporting standards
- Oversee regulatory reporting obligations and ensure timely, accurate submissions
- Provide governance advice and support to senior leadership and operational teams
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Identify opportunities to improve governance processes and reporting efficiency
- Represent The Star in governance forums and regulatory committees
What we are looking for:
- Undergraduate degree in law, commerce, business, finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in governance, compliance, or risk management
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and corporate governance principles
- Proven leadership experience in a large, complex organisation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
