The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Wellbeing Teacher to join our vibrant school community at St Mary's Primary School in Rushworth.

A great 12-month Fixed Term (0.4 FTE) opportunity exists for a passionate educator to make a significant impact on the mental health and wellbeing of our students, staff, and families.

You will:

- Promote a whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing
- Build capacity in school staff to support students with mental health concerns
- Create clear referral pathways for students needing additional support
- Coordinate targeted mental health support, working with school teams, families, and external agencies
- Participate in ongoing professional development and Communities of Practice
- Be a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- 3 hours per week face to face scheduled class time (RRRR and Visual Arts)
- Have a commitment to Catholic Education and the Catholic Identity
