Urgent requirement of PSA Engineer - Generation-Contract - Sydney

Requirements

- Must have 5 years of experience in Power system applications – Generation, Automatic Generation Control, Load Frequency Control, Load Forecasting, Economic Dispatch, Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency analysis, Operator Training Simulator
- Hands-on expertise preferably on GE PowerOn Reliance(XA21) and/or AEMS/GDC Platform Software, as well as EMS of any equivalent platforms from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider etc
- Proficient in both Linux and Windows operating environments
- Experience with communication protocols: IEC60870-5-101/104, DNP3, Modbus, ICCP, OPC
- Experience of working with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server
- Experience in programming languages for system integration or scripting, such as C, C++, PERL, or similar
- SQL, shell scripting, and ability to read and interpret logs and debug files
- Must have experience in picking up and installing fixes on live customer systems
- Strong troubleshooting & debugging skills
- Very Good Communication Skills

Duration: 6 Months and possible extension
