Position Profile This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in an operational leadership role as a Supervisor Clinical Neurophysiology Scientist. You will work closely with the Chief Neurophysiology Scientist to achieve strategic goals and deliver specialised paediatric neurophysiology services to patients and families across the Child and Adolescent Health Service. You will demonstrate advanced practice skills in undertaking highly specialised procedures within neurophysiology, support consultant staff with preliminary interpretation of clinical data, and provide clinical leadership, mentoring support and play an important role in the education, professional development and clinical practice supervision of clinical neurophysiology scientists. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families to address concerns and provide support throughout the diagnostic process will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities - Perform all highly specialised procedures, taking responsibility for the welfare, privacy and security of the patient during procedures. - Coordinate the delivery of neurophysiology services at CAHS and off‑site at KEMH in collaboration with the Chief Clinical Neurophysiology Scientist, ensuring that processes and industry standards are maintained. - Instruct, supervise and conduct competency assessment of staff in the suite of neurophysiological procedures provided at CAHS. - Contribute to the development of routine clinical scientific practices and protocols, and to quality improvement initiatives that support the hospital’s commitment to excellence in patient care.
