The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Piping Draftsperson to join our growing office team based in Ascot , WA

Reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, you will play an integral role in the design of wet and dry mineral process plants and bulk material handling projects.

With a solid pipeline of work, this is an exciting time to join GRES with the opportunity for you to develop alongside us.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

- Lead piping design efforts for large-scale EPC projects from conception to completion
- Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and procedures
- Communicate with the project team, provide updates, raise issues and attend team meetings
- Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to ensure designs are accurate, feasible and meet project requirements
- Deliver and contribute to practical solutions
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members
- Develop piping layouts and detailed drawings based on project requirements and specifications
- Ensure the quality of deliverables in line with the relevant codes and standards, needs of the customer and regulatory authorities

Skills/Qualifications:

- At least 10 years of multi-discipline experience in piping design and drafting within the EPC environment
- Proficient in the design layout of mineral processing plants
- Advance diploma or equivalent in Engineering is desirable
- Experience with SolidEdge, SolidWorks or Inventor is desirable
- Must have full and unrestricted Australian working rights
