As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse at Midnight Health, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of patient-centered care via telehealth. You will work closely with registered nurse practitioners, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and safe nursing care to our patients nationwide.

Here's some of what you will be working on each week:

1. Providing attentive and holistic care to patients over the phone.
2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, care plans, and medication charts.
3. Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and patients, ensuring clear and empathetic communication.
4. Educating patients on health-related topics including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
5. Monitoring medications and dosage, observing patients for adverse reactions and reporting any concerns to the appropriate authorities.
6. Collaborating with audit teams to review findings and implement corrective actions.
7. Managing the recall process for pathology, ensuring patients are promptly notified of their results, given follow-up instructions, and schedule any necessary consultations.

Skills and experience that will help you to be successful in this role:

1. Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
2. Prior experience in nursing through telehealth.
3. Ability to build rapport with patients over the phone, making sure they feel supported on their health journey.
4. Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
5. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
6. Knowledge of and adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and standards in healthcare.
7. Confidence in working within a mostly paperless environment - training across the platforms you'll be using is of course provided.
