Are you a creative and passionate Visual Arts educator eager to inspire young minds?
St Michael’s Grammar School invites applications for a vibrant and engaging Visual Arts Teacher to join our Junior School team. This position will be for a fixed term basis with a 0.48 load commencing January 2026 through to the end of Term3, 2026.

In this exciting role, you’ll nurture artistic expression and creativity in students from Kindergarten to Year 6, delivering dynamic programs in a supportive and stimulating environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Designing and delivering inspiring Visual Arts lessons across Years K–6

- Collaborating with colleagues to integrate art into broader units of inquiry

- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and creative classroom culture

- Working independently and as part of a dynamic, collaborative team

- Contributing to the life of the School through active participation in programs and events

What We’re Looking For

- Tertiary qualifications in teaching (primary) and relevant methods

- Understanding of the Reggio Emilia Educational Project (highly regarded)

- Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

- Anaphylaxis Management, Level II First Aid Certificate, and CPR
