This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026

As part of our expanding infrastructure, Kelmscott SHS is developing new Performing Arts facilities to enhance our capacity to deliver high-quality programs in Drama, Dance, and Music. The Role
Kelmscott SHS is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Specialist/Arts Teacher to join our dynamic Arts Learning Area. This role offers the opportunity to teach across Years 7–12, with a strong focus on Drama, while also delivering engaging Visual Arts programs.
Responsibilities/Requirements
- Have expertise in teaching Drama, with the ability to inspire students in performance, production, and theatre studies.
- Possess the skills and flexibility to teach Visual Arts and foster artistic creativity.
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality learning experiences aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
- Differentiate teaching strategies to cater for diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
