Bunbury, Australia VenuesWest Full time

Overview

Position Profile: In collaboration with the Coordinator Dietetics, this position is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating paediatric Dietetic services (Outpatient & Child Development Services) and outreach Dietetic services to the Northern Goldfields region.

Eligibility to Apply

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Other Conditions

WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. You may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. Referees may be asked to comment on integrity and past ethical behaviour. Adverse information does not necessarily disqualify an applicant but will be considered as part of the appointment process.

This vacancy is subject to a Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) Check. For further information refer to the WWC website.

The recruitment process requires completion of a satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA). Any offer of employment with WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is conditional on satisfactory PEHA to ensure you can perform the inherent requirements of the position. An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in withdrawal of the offer. See the attached WACHS PEHA Policy for further information. This process may also be used to fill other similar vacancies for up to twelve (12) months from the date the recruitment decision is endorsed.

Area Profile

The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the largest in the world, serving approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a large area. The organisation comprises seven regions with public hospitals, health services and health centres across rural and remote Western Australia. Our core business is providing quality, accessible health services to country WA residents and visitors.

- 12% employer contributed superannuation into a fund of your choice
- Access to generous salary packaging arrangements
- Professional development opportunities and study leave/assistance
- Flexible working arrangements
