So, we are seeking a confident and enthusiastic person who share our values – Think Sharp, Dig In and Care - to join our high performing team.****Glencore is committed to providing an environment that adheres to the Respect at Work Legislation.**## **Job Description**Reporting to the Field Maintenance Supervisor, and as an integral member of the Field Maintenance team, you will safely and effectively maintain heavy earth moving plant equipment to a high standard and meet required targets.Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate experience in the safe maintenance of Field equipment and be willing to actively participate in a culture that focuses on delivery of results through effective teamwork, proactive safety performance and continuous improvement.The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned & reactive breakdown maintenance work across our site.ABOUT THE ROLE* Work on a variety of plant and equipment to keep the operation running smoothly and reduce downtime. Equipment includes: 4100 Electric shovels, Liebherr and Hitachi Excavators and blast hole drills* Diagnose equipment faults and repair in accordance with OEM requirements & site processes* In-pit diagnosis and repair of machinery* Provide routine maintenance & breakdown support to the HVO fleetABOUT YOU* Relevant Mechanical Trade qualification or equivalent* Open Cut Coal Mining experience (desirable)* Demonstrated exposure to computerised maintenance management systems and knowledge of SAP (desirable)* Prioritise safe work and follow No Plan, No Work policies, and procedures* Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment* A current and valid manual Australian Driver’s licence* Experience working with and demonstrated compliance with work area permit systems* High Risk Work Licences such as Forklift, EWP & Working at Heights will be highly regardedROSTER AND LOCATION* 4 Panel Roster (12 hour rotating day/night shifts)* Based on site at HVO South FacilityWorking for us isn’t like working at any old mine.
