A leader in the supply of a range of automotive parts to their customers, our client has a collaborative and positive culture and a dynamic team, both locally and nationally.

Due to business growth, they have a newly created role for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team. With a focus on implementation and improvement of processes and systems, we are looking for an candidate with demonstrated achievements in the Supply Chain, Operations/Logistics field.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Develop and implement effective supply chain/purchasing strategies & improvements to optimize business performance & cost management
- Supplier relationships – contract negotiation and supplier performance/pricing/delivery
- Monitor and control inventory levels across national branches (4)
- Oversee logistics, transportation, and distribution processes
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical sourcing standards
- Track and report of supply chain performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements
- Growth – build a team of supply chain professionals to support business goals & objectives

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

- Proven Supply Chain, Procurement/Logistics achievements
- Sound understanding of cost saving/lean methodologies
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive change
- High levels of attention to detail and problem solving abilities
- Experience in supplier management and ethical sourcing practices
- Proficient in the use of supply chain and ERP software
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects & work in a fast paced environment
- Tertiary Qualifications will be highly regarded
