About the team The Women’s Language Services department provides highly professional NAATI certified interpreters to facilitate communication between health professionals and their patients via Face-Face, Video or Telephone Interpreting. Interpreters provide services to all clinics, wards & departments. About the role We are looking for a part time Arabic Certified Interpreter to join our team and help deliver clear, safe and culturally responsive communication for patients, families and staff. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide high-quality face-to-face, video and telephone interpreting across inpatient, emergency and outpatient settings. Your strong communication skills, linguistic expertise and collaborative approach will support exceptional patient-centred care. A regular day will see you: - will contribute to safe and effective patient care by delivering interpreting and translation services that meet NAATI certification standards and adhere to professional and organisational expectations - collaborate closely with clinical teams - support service improvement and cultural competency initiatives, contribute to administrative and quality activities, and engage in ongoing learning to maintain excellence in practice.
