Overview

Bacchus Marsh Grammar is seeking expressions of interest from experienced and knowledgeable Senior Specialist Mathematics Teachers who are committed to joining a high-performing academic team. We are looking for educators with a strong understanding of the VCE mathematics curriculum and assessment requirements, and who are motivated by the challenge of contributing to outstanding academic outcomes for students. At Bacchus Marsh Grammar, staff work in a collegial environment where professional dialogue, the sharing of expertise, and a collective drive for improvement underpin the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning. The preferred candidate will be provided a VCE allotment in specialist mathematics subjects, including Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics from Units 1 to 4. This position represents an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the School’s tradition of academic success while being supported by a collaborative and ambitious team.

Key Selection Criteria

- Appropriate teaching qualifications, with the ability to become registered in Victoria as a Teacher;

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher;

- Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics in Units 1 to 4;

- Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or Australian interstate equivalent; and

- Valid driver’s license.
