Role and responsibilities
A rapidly growing clinic in the stunning Dandenong Ranges is seeking an experienced part-time veterinarian. This role is suited to a vet confident with routine consultations and basic surgeries such as desexings, lumpectomies, and dentals. Mentorship is available for those looking to develop their skills further, including emergency and more complex surgical procedures. The lead vet provides hands-on training and support, and a visiting orthopaedic surgeon is available for more advanced cases and learning opportunities.
The clinic also hosts a visiting medical specialist and ultrasonographer. It is fully equipped with in-house IDEXX blood machines, the latest wireless Radincon x-ray, GE ultrasound, IM3 dental facilities, and ezyVet software (accessible from home). Facilities include separate canine and feline hospitalisation wards and waiting areas to reduce patient and client stress.
