Our client, one of Australia's leading private hospitals, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced General Sonographer to join their team of friendly, highly skilled Sonographers in Sydney, on a part-time or full-time basis.

This private practice provides medical imaging and nuclear medicine services to both in-patients and out-patients at the highest level of customer service and imaging excellence.

The successful candidate with be operating in a fast-paced environment with the latest technology, providing a great opportunity to develop their medical imaging skills.

COMPETENCIES:

- ASAR Registered General sonographer with 3+ years' experience.
- Strong focus on breast, interventional and musculoskeletal imaging.
- General US.
- Superficial Parts US.
- Basic Vascular – DVT, Cartoid, Renal Art.
- Interventional Guidance.
- Gynaecological US.
- Obstetric US (NT and procedural OB not required).
- MSK US.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Delivery of high quality, accurate and efficient imaging, and medical imaging services.
- Promote a patient-focused approach to imaging, provision of excellence in patient care and customer service.
- Hold a strong work ethic with commitment to quality, safety, and risk management.
- Work efficiently and effectively within a small team.
- Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with Radiologists.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Criminal record and child protection checks will be conducted and will form part of the selection criteria.
- ASAR Registration.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- As part of the Staff Health Screening Immunisation Policy, which, depending on the role you perform in the organisation will require you to undergo mandatory immunisations/vaccinations. You will required to have mandatory immunisations/vaccinations.
