What we are looking for

Join our team at Maryborough Showgrounds & Equestrian Park where you will maintain venues, support events, and deliver exceptional service in a dynamic outdoor environment

What your day will look like

- Provide support in the planning and delivery of event logistics on-site including site preparation, setup and bump-in, community/contractor liaison and bump-out/de-install.

- Conduct inspections of areas and facilities and complete relevant tasks related to the reinstatement of venue/site post-events.

- Undertake minor repairs and maintenance activities including, but not limited to cleaning of venue amenities, canteens, buildings, stables/yards and public areas;

- Assist in the delivery of venue maintenance schedules in conjunction with the Venue Operations Manager.

- Assist in the supervision of contractors in conjunction with the Venue Operations Manager

What you’ll need for success

- Willingness to work weekends and flexible rosters

- demonstrated knowledge and experience in event and/or venue preparation

What’s nice to have

- HR Licence

- Ticket to Conduct Tractor Operations
