About the Company: Coregas manufactures gases locally and distributes throughout Australia and New Zealand via a network of branches and channel partners. We manufacture and distribute compressed gases and cryogenic liquids to almost all industries, ranging from heavy industry and manufacturing to healthcare and specialty users such as laboratories and hydrogen for fuel.

About the role
In this newly created role of HR & HSE Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data, systems, and insights to drive compliance focused employment practices through the use of systems across the organisation.
This is a hands-on and data-driven role responsible for the administration and optimisation of our HR & HSE systems, including Kronos, Chris21 and Evotix, as well as leading our HR analytics and reporting initiatives. You will also play a key role in compliance assurance through auditing and maintaining governance frameworks for HSE, HR and pay internal and external compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain our timekeeping system Kronos, ensuring data integrity, user access, workflow optimisation and most importantly, pay compliance through effective rules configurations
- Review and resolve timesheet exceptions and discrepancies for weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay runs.
- Ensure payroll systems configurations and processes comply with award conditions and legislative requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to key users of Kronos on system functionalities.
- Generate and anaylse data and reports
- Implement and action the requirements of a pay and compliance governance framework
- Conduct regular audits to ensure HR & HSE compliance.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll and HSE teams for compliance and data management requirements, including improvement initiatives
- Accurate interpretation of Awards, Enterprise Agreements, Code of Practice, Regulations, policies and contracts
- Support system and data integration projects across HR, payroll, and HSE systems and applications
- Drive improvements in people data governance, reporting accuracy, and analytics capability across the business.
About you
- Experience administering a time-and-attendance system, including rules configuration (experience with Kronos highly regarded).
- Experience working within a HR and / or payroll function
- Demonstrable skills in the interpretation and application of statutory requirements
- Exposure to HSE coordination
- Strong proficiency in HR reporting tools, Excel, and data visualisation platforms (Power BI desirable).
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
