Trainee Educator

Welcome to Milestones Early Learning Fern Bay Our goal is to create a new pathway for individuals wanting to commence a career as an early childhood educator. Affinity’s Trainee Educator Program enables you to work in a centre of your choice, while studying to earn your Certificate III in ECE. It is ideally suited to people who would rather work in the industry and study the relevant qualification at the same time.

About the centre

We are a 104-place service with 6 learning environments separated into 3 key age groups. We are tucked away in the small tight knit estate of Seaside Fern Bay which allows for meaningful relationships and connections with our local community. We pride ourselves on providing meaningful play-based programs through the Life-long learning approach, placing children at the core of our planning as capable, competent, and creative individuals who have a right and are encouraged to contribute to their own learning. You will

About you

- A current Working with Children check or the ability to obtain it
- Access to transport to and from the centre.
- Willingness to commence in a Traineeship through the Affinity Learning Academy.

Financial Benefits

Australian Apprenticeship Support Payments paid to eligible students on top of your weekly pay.

- Part Time - $875 paid at 6 and 12 months, $375 paid at 18 and 24 months
- Full Time - $1750 paid at 6 and 12 Months, $750 paid at 18 and 24 months.
