The Waterloo Hotel Brisbane is expanding its already-established management team. We are looking for a new Assistant Venue Manager who has a passion for all things hospo. This is an excellent opportunity for a manager looking to step into a large venue and showcase their skills .

The position will suit a candidate with outstanding leadership skills and the proven ability to positively impact a team and provide exceptional customer service. We are seeking someone with proven experience managing a multifaceted venue who can problem-solve and thrive in a busy environment.

The successful candidate must have proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue and exceptional customer service and presentation skills.

- Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

- Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends

- Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss

- Order and maintain par levels within the beverage department, food department and venue consumables

- Train, performance manage, and motivate staff

- RLMV & Approved Managers License
