We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team who shares our vision of building a sustainable and profitable major Australian gold business.* **Full-time, permanent position** with a competitive salary and attractive benefits package* **Based at our Bluebird site** on a family friendly roster to suit your lifestyle – 8 days on, 6 days off* **Flexible employment options** including FIFO, DIDO, and residential opportunities from Meekatharra & Cue – choose what works best for you* **Modern, well-equipped camp** featuring ensuite room, sports court, and fully equipped gym to keep you comfortable and active while away from home* **A growing company** that’s supports employee’s development**THE ROLE*** Adhere to all safety and environmental considerations and company policies and procedures* Contribute to a proactive safety culture within the team, and have a strong commitment to safe working practices* Conduct soil sampling and rock chip sampling programs as directed* Conduct sample data entry accurately and in a timely manner* Dispatch samples in a timely manner and liaise with laboratory* Quality control of DD core, correction of errors in core presentation and block spacing, meter marking of core, core cutting and core photography* Flagging and pegging of pending drill programs* Assist with drill site preparation and rehabilitation activities in accordance with safety, environmental and heritage requirements* Report any issues with vehicle and equipment maintenance* Assist with supervision of heritage surveys* Provide guidance to new Field Assistants* Assist with daily survey requirements as required* Conduct general housekeeping within all work areas* Liaising with Contractors and Stakeholders as required**WHAT DO I NEED*** Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence (essential)* Forklift Licence (desirable)* Advanced 4WD Training (desirable)* Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)* Solid computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite* Able to perform basic maintenance of field equipment* Experience in GPS software operation* Demonstrated skills in data entry and sample tracking* Proficient in all sampling procedures and sample dispatch protocols, ensuring data integrity and accuracy* Skilled in surveying protocols* Excellent numerical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly* Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks* A can-do, team-oriented attitude* Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable* Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment**The Westgold Offer:** A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producer **A range of benefits including:*** Performance based bonus* Group salary continuous insurance* A health and wellness allowance Health insurance discount* A range of Family and Medical leave policies that includes IVF, surrogacy and adoption.* Referral Bonus - bring your mates along* 5 years' pro rata long service leave* Salary sacrifice options* Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that include free confidential counselling, wellbeing services that includes financial advice.Our full list of benefits and why we are recognised as an Endorsed Employer for Women by Work 180 can be seen on the Work180 website.Westgold is driven by our core values of Show Respect, Choose Safety and Deliver Value.
