Overview

Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking a Lifestyle Team Leader for our Little Mountain location, working within our 96 bed Residential Aged Care Home on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

As our Lifestyle Assistant at Little Mountain Aged Care, you’ll be a trusted partner in our residents’ health journeys. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll be responsible for assisting with the development and delivery of leisure and recreational activities for our residents as well as assisting the residents to take part in activities. You’ll enjoy the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and staff alike, while contributing to a positive and supportive care environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the development and delivery of leisure and recreational activities for residents
- Assist residents to participate in activities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support resident health journeys

About You

You are a compassionate and skilled Lifestyle Assistant who thrives in a collaborative, resident-focused environment. You bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for improving the lives of older Australians.

Essential

- Passionate about Aged Care and providing safe supportive activities
- Relevant work experience providing Leisure and health programs, preferably in an Aged Care environment
- Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
- Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor

Desirable

- Currently hold, or willing to obtain a current NDIS check
- Currently hold, or willing to obtain a current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Certificate III in Individual Support or other similar qualification
