AUMS is looking for experienced applicants to fill the role of Tele-Remote Bogger Operator/Trainer on a 6:3 roster.

As a Tele-Remote bogger trainer, the successful candidate will have Tele-remote, Guidance, MineGem or AutoMine competency. Solid production and development charging experience is also required.

Daily Duties

- Assisting installation of AutoMine systems

- Operation of AutoMine systems

- Prepping rings for charging

- Charging down and up holes and VCR of rises, passes and escapeways

- Stringing of rises and correct interpretation of information

- Dangerous goods certification (desirable)

- Shot firing licence (desirable)

- Must be prepared to do and be enthusiastic about production charge up training when and as required

Key Qualifications and Skills

- The ability to work in a small team as part of a high-speed development cycle

- The ability to work as part of a large team providing training to national personnel

- A high level of competence on large underground LHD’s including CAT R2900 and Sandvik LH621 loaders (iSeries)

- Development charging proficiency

- Dangerous goods certification

- Shot firing licence

- Vent and services installation and extension

- The ability to train Nationals to a high standard of bogging proficiency and road maintenance
