We are looking to talk to Personal Care Workers with community care experience who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful, and high-quality service to help clients live empowered and independently at home.

We support people living with Alzheimer’s, dementia and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs and older Australians. Our services include aged and disability care, transitional care, hospital in the home and palliative care. Our Wide Bay region continues to grow, and we are seeking experienced Home Care Workers who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful and high-quality service. Clients and caregivers are matched based on skill level, personality traits and preferences to support long-term relationships.

This role is on a casual basis and would suit an applicant looking for 10-25 hours a week with room for growth to part time. Alternating shifts and willing to travel between Maryborough and Hervey Bay. Suitable applicants would ideally be available to cover leave along with rostered days and hours on a recurring basis. Availability to cover afternoon services along with alternating weekends is preferred.

As typical in the role of in-home aged care support, you will be assisting with:

- Personal care
- Domestic assistance
- Transportation
- Medication prompting
- Other activities of daily living

Qualifications

- Certificate III in Aged Care AND or Individual care
- Satisfactory Australian National Police check
- Current first aid and CPR certificate
- Driver’s licence and their own car (full comprehensive insurance)

- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High level of time management and organisational ability
