Responsibilities

- Act as Product Owner for the SaaS platform, owning the product roadmap, prioritising features, and shaping go‑to‑market strategies that align with business objectives.

- Provide hands‑on development support by contributing code, solving technical challenges, and guiding architectural decisions across distributed teams in Australia and Vietnam.

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure alignment, momentum, and delivery cadence within the team.

- Maintain a well‑defined product backlog in Jira by writing clear user stories, estimating tasks, and prioritising based on customer needs and business value.

- Coordinate communication and accountability across geographically dispersed teams to ensure seamless project execution despite time zone differences.

- Drive commercialisation efforts by partnering with marketing and sales teams to enhance lead quality, conversion rates, and overall customer acquisition.

- Bridge technical and business stakeholders by translating customer insights into actionable requirements that deliver meaningful features aligned with market demands.

- Track key product metrics using analytics tools to monitor development velocity, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes for continuous improvement.

- Conduct code reviews to uphold high standards of quality, maintainability, security, and scalability throughout all development activities.

- Collaborate closely with customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding experiences, foster product adoption, gather feedback loops, and address any friction points.

Technical and Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field providing a solid foundation for both technical understanding and business acumen.

- 3‑5+ years’ experience in product management within SaaS or B2B software environments demonstrating proven capability in leading successful products from concept through launch.

- Strong grasp of software architecture principles including API design, database modelling, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps practices and security best practices.

- Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies encompassing backlog management, sprint facilitation, user story creation with acceptance criteria meeting Definition of Ready standards.

- Proficiency with Jira/Confluence for Agile project management alongside familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines supporting efficient workflows.

- Demonstrated ability to manage distributed/remote development teams across multiple time zones ensuring effective communication protocols are established for optimal performance.

- Experience conducting user research through interviews or testing sessions combined with data‑driven decision making using analytics tools like Mixpanel or Google Analytics.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling cross‑functional collaboration with marketing/sales/customer success teams as well as clear communication between technical/non‑technical audiences.

- Desirable: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Scrum Master (CSM) certification; creative mindset; experience coaching/mentoring team members; track record of fostering inclusive cultures.
