Already got a trade under your belt and ready for a new challenge? This traineeship is your pathway to step out of the workshop or site and into the world of Process Operations, one of the most in‑demand careers in energy.

Programmed, together with Vermilion Oil & Gas Australia, is offering skilled tradespeople the chance to retrain, upskill, and build a career offshore in WA's energy sector.

What's in it for you?

✔ A Certificate III in Process Plant Operations

✔ Real‑world experience on hydrocarbon processing systems on Wandoo Platform

✔ Mentoring & classroom training to keep you supported every step of the way

What you'll be doing:

- Learning how to run and maintain oil process facilities

- Family friendly FIFO Roster - 2 on 2 off - 12 hour days

- Building problem‑solving skills and working safely in high‑tech environments

Who we're looking for:

- Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation

- Curiosity and a mechanical mindset

- Motivated and able to show initiativeConfidence with numbers and diagnostics

- Commitment to safety

- Minimum Year 10 education

- Ability to work in an offshore rostered environment
