The Role:

We currently have a new vacancy available for a Grounds Team Member who will be responsible for delivering Grounds Maintenance works as part of a wider team. You will work at a variety of Sydney Water locations & travel between multiple sites within Western Sydney. This role will also include carrying out regular grounds maintenance activities.

Responsibilities will include:

- Work as part of a team to deliver works safely and to meet quality requirements
- Use of whips and blowers to manage vegetation and debris
- Operate mower to mow large open sites
- Assist as required in other grounds maintenance activities
- Occasionally assist in other areas of maintenance activities due to business needs
- Perform general maintenance to plant and equipment
- Perform pre-start inspections and follow safe work practices

What you will need:

- Construction White card
- Manual Drivers licence & own transportation is a must
- Flexible approach and a positive attitude
- A team player
- Be willing to partake in our on-boarding process which includes pre-employment medicals, reference and qualification checks, online inductions
- Prior experience in grounds maintenance is preferred but not required
- Ability to successfully pass police and medical check requirements
