Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an Office Manager with at least 3 years' experience to join our Sydney office on a full-time basis.

The opportunity is with Mills Oakley, a national law firm with a history spanning over 160 years, committed to exceptional client service with a friendly and collaborative ethos.

The Role

A skilled and self-driven Office Manager is sought to join the Sydney office on a full-time basis. This is a key role that supports day-to-day operations and ensures a smooth and efficient working environment for partners and staff.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of 7
- Oversee budgets and spending for areas such as stationery, catering orders and stock, petty cash and cab charges
- Manage requests for assistance from partners and staff and ensure effective completion by the Administration team
- Event management and manage firm initiatives as required
- Run inductions for new starters and facilitate office moves
- Oversee ISO27001 audits and ensure compliance
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency in day-to-day operations
- General administrative duties as required by the firm

Who We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience as an Office Manager, ideally within the professional services industry, and previous experience in administrative roles. You will have excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills, and be able to manage multiple priorities effectively. You will have a proven ability to work independently, solve problems with minimal input from leadership, and proactively address issues.
