Overview

As a Trainee Educator at Goodstart, you'll play a crucial role in giving children the best possible start in life. With the support of your Centre Leadership Team, Teachers, and fellow Educators, you'll be empowered to grow and succeed while working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.

Location: Rutherford (Postcode 2320) NSW • Centre: Goodstart Rutherford • Employment Type: 18 Month Fixed Term Contract, Full Time 38 hours per week • Pay: Up to $28.69 Per hour Plus Super

Responsibilities

- Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and team members

- Complying with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements

- Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families

- Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team

- Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement

- Contributing to a professional and positive work culture

Eligibility and Qualifications

- The willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care

- Good time management and organisational skills

- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team

- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude

- Interest in early years education

- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)

- Ability to meet immunisation requirements
