About the role Our clients are Aged Care facilities within 100km from Cairns. It is a requirement that you are able to travel. Duties PCA's who join our team will be expected to provide: - Superior personal care - Feeding - Domestic support - Make a difference to residents in providing exemplary care - Work collaboratively within teams - Willingness to learn and interact with new people and systems - Strict adherence to facility and governmental accreditation standards - Kitchen, laundry or housekeeping skills are highly regarded. Skills & Experience Successful applicants will possess the following: - Demonstrate a willingness to provide exceptional person-centred care and support to residents - Value teamwork and collaboration - Exhibit a passion for making a difference in the lives of residents - Aged care experience (highly regarded) - Cert III or IV in Aged Care or individual support (or similar) or be working towards nursing certification (must have completed either aged care/acute placement) - Current National Police Check - Current COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations - A positive "can-do" attitude with excellent time management skills.
