As we accelerate toward full-scale underground production at Kathleen Valley, we’re expanding our Underground Production team with new permanent Production Engineering roles to support this next phase.

Following our recent capital raise, we’re in a strong financial position to drive our production agenda forward. With a fourth long-hole drill rig arriving shortly, underground activities are forging ahead and our transition from development to full stoping production is well underway.

These are not short-term roles. This is a long-term opportunity to be part of something with staying power — a 20+ year project backed by strategic partners, high-grade resources, and a clear growth trajectory.

About the role

You’ll be part of a high-performing production team that’s passionate, solutions-focused, and driven by the opportunity to build something new. Reporting to a Senior Production Engineer, you’ll support the safe and efficient delivery of our underground mine plan while helping us set the standard for what “great” looks like in underground lithium mining.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement drill & blast designs (Deswik or similar)

- Daily production monitoring, tracking, and data analysis

- Short-term scheduling across development, stoping, services, maintenance, and backfilling

- Support the ramp-up of stoping activities (commencing Q4 FY2025)

- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to continuously improve performance

- Contribute to operational readiness activities for upcoming infrastructure and production changes

- Be part of the core team ramping up underground lithium production

About you

- Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent underground operational experience

- 2–5 years in underground production engineering roles

- Backfill experience highly regarded (our paste plant is coming online soon)

- Understanding of Australian mining practices and safety standards

- Confident communicator, collaborator, and problem-solverAbility to obtain a National Police Clearance and pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screen
