Join Macquarie’s Global Cyber Threat Incident Response team as a Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Manager. Our team is responsible for detecting, identifying, triaging, and mitigating cyber threats in our global cyber environment.

What role will you play?

You will play a key role in how we manage threat-based risks, regulatory and audit obligations, and compliance requirements across this global environment. You will be responsible for Cyber Threat Incident Response’s risk management, regulatory engagements, and controls review and reporting. Partnering with various teams and subject matter experts across the organization you will address cyber-threat related risks and respond to cyber related regulatory requirements. You will identify areas of improvement and act strategically on how we perform our activities that are both efficient and impactful. In addition, you will stay up to date with industry and regulatory changes, and provide continuous review of controls to ensure they are cohesive and effective.

What you offer

- Audit or technology risk management experience, ideally gained working in technology, financial services or a financial services regulator
- Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity related global regulations, cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001 or related frameworks)
- Demonstrated success in delivering assurance activities and embedding control improvements
- Ability to interpret data and leverage tools including AI
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to influence decision making processes
