The Tullamarine CSL Engineering department is hiring a Mechanical Technician (Fitter). **This role is a currently a dayshift role, transitioning to a 24/7 roster on a rotating 12 hour shift in 2026.**You’ll conduct preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, corrective and breakdown maintenance on automated machines at our world class manufacturing facilities at CSL Seqirus, TullamarineIn this role we offer:* An attractive remuneration package* Allowances and overtime* On the job development and training* Access to an Employee Share Plan which allows employees to buy CSL shares at a discounted rate* Onsite facilities (parking and cafeteria)**Your Responsibilities**Reporting to the Mechanical Coordinator (Engineer) you will possess experience conducting preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, corrective and breakdown maintenance on production, utility and supporting equipment. Role requirement includes:* Overhauling and maintaining production and utility equipment.* TIG stainless steel welding and Lathe and Milling machine work* Working with Microsoft software packages and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)* Working to GMP principles and an appreciation of aseptic processes and techniques* Supporting manufacturing on a shift roster. Flexibility in working hours to meet operational needs, including availability outside normal work hours /Facility shutdown to support major maintenance activities**Your Experience*** Qualification: **Certificate 3 Mechanical Engineering trade or Indentured Certificate as a Fitter & Turner*** Proven experience in the maintenance and operation of production equipment and expertise in fault diagnosis and corrective action* Experience within a regulated GMP environment in the Pharmaceutical or food manufacturing would be an advantage* An understanding of aseptic techniques and work traceability standards is highly desirable* You are highly motivated and enjoy utilising your initiative to solve complex mechanical related problems* Strong commitment to Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental standards## **Our Benefits**CSL Seqirus is committed to attracting and retaining world-class employees who are valued for their contributions to achieving business objectives.
