Join the passionate team at Southpaws as we expand our 24-hour dedicated emergency pet hospital in Malvern East. We recognise that emergencies don't adhere to a schedule, and that's why we're eager to welcome skilled Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Veterinarians to our dynamic team.

Our emergency hospital is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring that our ECC Veterinarians have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the critical moments of a pet's life.

Whether you're a seasoned professional or a recent graduate eager to dive into ECC, we invite all passionate veterinarians to join our dynamic team.

50% Days and 50% Nights

Achieve great work-life balance in a structured role that supports personal and professional development

Rostered training time with senior time/day shifts working with exposure to our specialist teams

Bi-weekly didactic sessions including Journal club, presentations and lectures

$150k p.a. plus Super for MANZCVS holders or MANZCVS eligible clinicians

Time and financial support for MANZCVS enrolment and examination if required

You must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent, have a minimum of 3 years work experience and be eligible for registration to practice in VIC, Australia.
