Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to join the Primary team at . This is a Fixed-Term, full-time position, commencing in Term 1, 2026 until the end of Term 4, 2026.

Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes
- Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students
- Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals
- Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system
- Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
- Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the college/'s Christian-based ethos
- Be able to plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students

Skills and Qualifications

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate students
- Dedication to evidence-based teaching practices and ongoing professional development
- Time management and organisational abilities
- Current VIT registration and relevant teaching qualifications

Role Requirements

- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Education
- Hold Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching or be eligible to apply for registration
- As part of our screening requirement, reference checks will be undertaken including referencing your ability to work safely with children.
- These positions are subject to maintaining registration with VIT
