About the role

CMV’s Contract Parts Division provides personalised services to major transport fleet operators. As a Parts Sales Representative, you will manage existing accounts while actively seeking out new business opportunities, driving heavy parts product growth across Melbourne’s western suburbs. This role offers a high degree of autonomy and involves both office-based and on-the-road sales activities.

What you will be doing

- Manage existing accounts and deliver first-class service
- Identify new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
- Build strong relationships with key decision makers
- Devise and present problem-solving solutions to win new business
- Manage key accounts and consignment stores
- Establish and maintain a formal follow-up system for stock replenishment
- Maintain the in-house customer database and reporting
- Deliver parts as required to customer sites
- Process customer invoices and quotations for parts requirements

What You’ll Need to Succeed

- Experience in a sales role is essential
- Professional, organised, confident, and well-presented
- Experience in a Customer-focused position engaging with clients at all levels
- Proactive, sales-oriented, and able to problem solve creatively
- Experience in automotive parts, road transport, or heavy automotive industry is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s licence
