The Opportunity

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Forklift Driver / Automotive Parts Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team in Broadmeadows. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about the automotive industry, enjoys working in a hands-on environment, and is looking to build a rewarding career with long-term growth potential.

Role responsibilities

- Forklifting vehicles in yard and in workshop

- Perform basic Quality Control tasks and complete washing of Engines, Transmissions and other parts to ensure parts meet business quality standards

- Scanning, photographing and labelling parts

- Ensure parts are collected for packing and wrapping in a timely manner

- Packing and wrapping parts for transport

- Loading stillages with parts and loading stillage on truck

- Assisting with stock and consumables counts

- Follow all site safety requirements

- General yard and forklift duties as directed

Experience & Skills

- Forklift license (7 tonne forklift on site)

- Knowledge of mechanical car parts and panels

- Problem solving

- Able to work safely and efficiently both in a team environment and independently

- Well-developed interpersonal skills

- Strong written and communication skills

- Able to professionally represent the organization

- Able to follow processes

- Demonstrate initiative and contribute to Continuous Improvement
