As a senior strategic planner, you will lead and contribute to the delivery of high-impact land use planning and policy projects, primarily for public sector clients.**You will:*** Lead or contribute to the preparation of strategic land use planning projects, including growth strategies, precinct plans, employment and housing studies and supporting technical inputs.* Provide high-quality planning analysis and advice informed by current government policies, regional and local priorities and stakeholder needs.* Collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in the fields of economics, urban design, transport, infrastructure advisory, community planning and stakeholder engagement.* Prepare and review reports, presentations and public-facing documents that communicate complex planning concepts clearly and persuasively.* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality.* Coach and develop individuals with the team, as appropriate.**About You:*** Holds tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planning or a related discipline.* Ideally minimum 3 years' experience within an Urban Planning role.* Strong knowledge of strategic planning, and related legislation, ideally gained in a consultancy or local/State government environment.* Proficient appreciation and understanding of strategic policies, processes and influences.* Proficient appreciation and understanding of impacts and issues affecting land use and development.As a member of our team, you will have the benefit of:* Working in environment that is inclusive, supports flexibility, and welcomes diversity.
