The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment and a current forklift license.This is a Permanent Full-time position at Welshpool, WA**Forklift Operation & Material Handling*** Operate forklifts (counterbalance and/or high-reach) to load and unload radiators and components.* Safely move finished goods from production to dispatch areas.* Load trucks and containers according to delivery schedules and load plans.* Unload incoming deliveries and verify against purchase orders.* Conduct daily pre-start checks and report any forklift faults or hazards.**Dispatch & Logistics*** Prepare goods for shipment, including wrapping, strapping, and labeling.* Coordinate with transport providers and or the dispatch clerk for timely pickups and deliveries.* Complete dispatch paperwork and update systems with shipment details.* Ensure all outgoing goods meet quality and packaging standards.**Inventory & Warehouse Duties*** Assist with stock take and cycle counts.* Maintain accurate records of stock movements.* Maintain and service the Wastewater Treatment Plant to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.* Keep dispatch and warehouse areas clean, organised, and hazard-free.**Teamwork & Communication*** Liaise with production, sales, and clerical teams to prioritise urgent orders.* Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or delays to supervisors promptly.* Support other warehouse or production tasks as required.**Skills & Qualifications:*** Valid forklift license (LF) – essential.* Proven experience in a dispatch or warehouse role, preferably in manufacturing.* Strong understanding of safe loading/unloading practices.* Ability to read and interpret dispatch documents and delivery dockets.* Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory systems.* Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.* Strong attention to detail and time management.**Desirable:*** Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.* Familiarity with radiator or automotive parts handling.Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for freight and transit rail as well as the mining, marine, and industrial markets.
