Job Description
Bring your pet along to Braeside Hospital to visit patients in care; they will enjoy patting and chatting with you about your treasured companion. See what a difference your furry friend can make
HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, specialising in dementia, palliative care, rehabilitation and older persons/' mental health. We are passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of our patients.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Qualifications
Applicants must be aged 18 years and over. HammondCare will organise and pay for a national police check. You will be required to meet NSW Dept of Health Immunisation standards for the category of this role (including HepB, Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Tetanus, influenza or be willing to discuss meeting the requirements).
We/'d be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Sunday; visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
