Services offered include intake and assessment, drop-in support, care coordination, therapeutic and financial counselling, and group programs, with priority given to the most vulnerable community members.

We are seeking a Psychologist (Grade 2) to join the Connect Centre based in Shepparton. - Provide assessments using the Initial Assessment and Referral (IAR) tool and deliver secondary consultations where clinical oversight is required.
- Offer direct psychological support and interventions – including family therapy – for carers where external pathways are not suitable.
- Design and implement tailored group programs to meet the emotional and wellbeing needs of carers.
- Co-design and evaluate service models, outcome measures and training frameworks.
- Perform other tasks as per Position Description

ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate is not only skilled in psychological practice but is also deeply committed to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families.

To thrive in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and attributes:

- Current Registration with AHPRA
- You will excel in building rapport with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, fostering a supportive environment for open dialogue and collaboration.
- Your experience should reflect a strong capability in independent clinical decision-making, thorough assessment techniques, and the development and implementation of effective treatment plans.
- A track record of running multidisciplinary meetings, providing supervision, leading case conferences, and conducting clinical review meetings.

Ultimately, we are looking for a compassionate individual who not only possesses the technical skills but also demonstrates a genuine dedication to improving mental health services for carers and their communities.
