We are currently seeking a **Payroll Specialist** with strong ADP knowledge to join our People & Capability team and help us deliver accurate and efficient payroll services for our employees.**About the Role**As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll be responsible for processing and balancing payroll for RAC employees, while also supporting the Payroll Manager in improving payroll processes, reporting, and audit responses. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll outcomes, while building strong relationships across the business.This roles is available on a Full Time, 12month Contract basis.Your responsibilities will include:* Assisting with payroll processing and providing expertise in ADP payroll systems.* Supporting payroll process improvements, reporting, and audit preparation.* Managing payroll administration, including payments and deductions (e.g., PAYG, payroll tax, workers compensation, child support, Centrelink).* Reconciling transactions back to financial reporting.* Preparing reports and documents for internal and external stakeholders.* Supporting colleagues by sharing payroll knowledge and skills.**About You**To be successful in this role, you will bring:* Demonstrated payroll experience within a medium-sized organisation.* Knowledge and experience with ADP (or Workday) payroll systems (desirable).* Experience responding to payroll audit requests and reporting requirements* Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate outcomes under time constraints.* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across the business.* Adaptability and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.* A workplace culture where our people feel valued, respected and empowered* RAC recognise the value of flexible working arrangements to help you achieve a balance between work responsibilities and personal commitments.
