What You'll Do as an LWB Youth Worker:

- Build trusting, nurturing relationships with children and young people through genuine care and active engagement
- Be a positive role model who inspires young people to develop life skills and confidence
- Support family involvement and facilitate meaningful connections that promote healing and belonging
- Encourage positive peer relationships and community connections
- Empower young people to have a voice in their own lives and decisions

What You Need to Get Started:

- Unrestricted driver’s license and reliable car (to help transport clients)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willingness to get certified before starting)
- We’ll guide you through a supportive onboarding process, including:

- One‑on‑one or group interviews

- Reference checks focused on child safety

- National Criminal History check (paid by us)

- Working with Children’s Blue Card application (cost $101.30)

- Mandatory Hope & Healing training before you start
