Role Overview

Adass Israel School, is seeking a Middle/Upper Primary classroom teacher to join their General Studies team. We are looking for a dedicated teacher who is able to implement the Australian Curriculum through engaging teaching and assessment practices. In this role you will work with a welcoming and supportive team, who are committed to helping students reach their potential. New graduates are welcome to apply.

School Context

Situated in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs, Adass Israel School is an independent private school in Elsternwick that is a member school of ISV (Independent Schools Victoria). With three campuses in a close vicinity, the school operates within the framework of a Jewish Orthodox school and as such, Teachers are required to respect and support the ethos of the School.

Key Requirements

- A commitment to child safety, well-being and protection.

- Demonstrated a passion for teaching.

- V.I.T. registration essential.

- Interpersonal skills appropriate to teaching Primary levels.

- Demonstrated strong and effective communication with students, parents and staff.

- Be sensitive to the religious and cultural values of the Adass Israel community.
