About the Role

Reporting to the Technology Chief of Staff, this role is focused on driving continuous improvement of the Global Technology function at BHP. As part of this team, you’ll be ensuring corporate objectives are translated into actionable plans, helping to communicate, manage and analyse implementation to facilitate strategy delivery. This role can be based in Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth

Accountabilities

- Executes projects that improve the Technology function culture and effectiveness; identifying performance issues and opportunities, building solutions and implementing at pace.

- Works directly with senior leaders to support broader team effectiveness, engagement and delivery.

- Identifies and implements opportunities to streamline and uplift processes across the Technology function to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

- Compiles high-quality reporting for Executive-level BHP leadership.

- Optimises the flow of information to and from the Technology Leadership Team to ensure timely decision-making and an aligned, informed workforce.

- Coordinates and facilitates problem solving activities and workshops with senior leaders. Uses storytelling to enhance communications and presentations to connect and engage audiences internal and external to Technology.

- Proactively manages a diverse range of stakeholder relationships and integrates across team boundaries to ensure whole of function and business outcomes are delivered.

About You

- 5+ years working experience, including experience in a business analyst or consultant role

- Strong project management skills, coupled with a continuous improvement mindset to see projects through to business outcomes

- Relevant degree in engineering, finance, business or IT recommended

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Business acumen and financial literacy

- Skilled at strategic thinking and change management

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

- Relevant degree in engineering, finance, business or IT recommended

- Resources industry and/or IT/Technology experience recommended
