EIC Construction Coordinator – Heavy Industrial Manufacturing - Location: Port Kembla - Type: Contract - Post Date: Mon Sep 22 00:27:00 2025 - Ref: BBBH1891 Reporting to the Area Manager, you will coordinate works and exercise control over the execution / installation workstream. You will set a high standard when it comes to safety review, construction planning, fit for purpose and delivery to plan. Responsibilities - Co-ordinating and managing all construction activities on a massive industrial manufacturing project; focusing on safety and ensuring the project risks are identified and managed. - Managing the day-to-day construction work and procurement activities, resource/application requirements and project issues. - Managing internal and external stakeholders’ relations with sub-contractors, the client and internal staff. - Coordinating sub-contractors and the quality of their work. - Providing accurate input into forecasting of the program resource & financial requirements You will possess - 10+ years of experience co-ordinating site works for capital projects or maintenance activities in heavy industry - Electrical Trade and Electrical Supervisor licence for electrical roles - Experience in the planning, management and delivery of major plant outages - Sufficiently broad understanding of engineering, construction and commissioning to allow safe integration of construction and project workstreams - Experience gained whilst working in heavy industrial manufacturing facilities and associated infrastructure. - Experience in the safe and successful development and delivery of large capital project(s) (>$100m) as a project team member If you are looking to join a massive critical infrastructure client and to deliver the successful build of a massive manufacturing plant for a market dominating Australian giant, then we want to speak to you.
