About the role

OurWORKFitprogram provides one-on-one support and 12 months access to a range of resources and assistance in terms of resilience, online learning and resume creation to give jobseekers the skills and confidence to secure and maintain work.

This role is full-time until 30 June 2026 and is part of our WORKFit team based in Hervey Bay.

The JOBGym Coach is an in-demand role which:

- Provides tailored assistance to jobseekers based on the individual's employment goals and any barriers they may be experiencing
- Supports job seekers to develop new and transferrable knowledge and skills, particularly through online learning
- Delivers one-on-one and group session training to jobseekers to help themimprove their employability and confidence

To enjoy this role, you will have:

- Experience in assisting clients to identify their goals, strengths and any barriers to participation in work or the community
- Lived experience or a demonstrated understanding of the barriers to employment and local labour market conditions
- A track record in developing and delivering training, in both one-on-one and group settings, to jobseekers or clients in non-vocational training
- The ability to develop and maintain networks with employers and community organisations to generate referrals and identify employment opportunities for jobseekers
- Excellent digital literacy skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
