
People & Culture Business Partner (High Salary)

We are hiring a People & Culture Business Partner to drive organisational effectiveness and enhance the employee experience at Education Perfect. This role involves partnering with business leaders to provide expert, data-driven guidance that aligns people strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate will lead employee-centred design initiatives, champion DEI, and support talent and performance development. They will bring expertise in complex employee relations, remuneration, and a global outlook. Additionally, they will work closely with the broader P&C team to improve processes and operational efficiency, contributing to a high-performing, inclusive, and engaging place to work.
What you will do
1. Develop a strong understanding of business unit strategies and proactively identify People & Culture needs
2. Provide expert, data-informed coaching and guidance to leaders, translating business goals into effective people plans
3. Act as a strategic business partner to leaders across the organisation
4. Design and implement employee experiences with a focus on empathy, engagement, and continuous improvement
5. Champion DEI by embedding inclusive practices across all people initiatives and fostering a psychologically safe workplace
6. Collaborate with leaders to support workforce planning, succession, and talent development
7. Enable performance by coaching leaders on best practices in feedback, growth, and team effectiveness
8. Contribute to a positive and inclusive culture, supporting initiatives that drive engagement and retention
9. Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fairness and compliance with ANZ and Canadian employment law
10. Guide and support change initiatives, helping leaders and teams navigate transitions effectively
About you
1. Extensive experience delivering People & Culture leadership in the Australian market; familiarity with Canadian and New Zealand contexts is a bonus
2. Deep understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices, with the ability to champion and embed DEI initiatives across programs and strategies
3. Skilled in applying employee-centred design principles to improve people programs using data, feedback, and continuous iteration
4. Strong expertise in handling complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution, with a focus on fairness and compliance
5. Proficient in remuneration and compensation strategy, including benchmarking, job evaluations, and maintaining internal equity
6. Confident in leading and supporting organisational change, helping leaders and teams navigate transitions with clear and effective communication
